  • the bartholomew method

The mission is to heal the body and rid it of lactic and uric acid buildup caused by stress and tension. With stones heated to a staggering 165 degrees (one of, if not the hottest temperature used in town), clients are guaranteed to receive an intense treatment. It begins with a warm pillow made of various herbs including lavender and mustard seeds placed gently on your lower back and spine, which allows the muscles to slowly release and relax. Then the therapist begins his magic of massaging your body with a combination of stones and his hands.

craniosacral massage is the manipulation of the cranial bone in the head, relieving tensions and stress on the frontal lobe, and the cerebral cortex. It helps to prevent headaches and lockjaw and opens up the sinuses; many people hold tension in their jaw without even knowing it. craniosacral massage can help release this tension. if you have an older injury, craniosacral is recommended as one of the best ways to release held trauma from the physical tissues, the nervous system, and from the energy body.

  • deep tissue massage

deep tissue massage works slowly, deep into the muscle, to break up adhesions, scar tissue, and relax lactic acid. It is also used in relieving muscle spasms. deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. this type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury. It is not uncommon for receivers of deep tissue massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two. recommended for athletes and those with chronic muscle tension.

  • esalen blend massage

Esalen Massage upholds the belief and practice that the mind-body-spirit-heart connection is vital to wholeness and wellness. Practitioners support the body’s innate capacity to self-organize and heal. Signatures of this style are long fluid strokes and the integration of multiple modalities. Bodywork therapist Sariyah Idan trained in this style at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur CA and integrates a blend of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, and Treger. Swedish massage addresses circulation and relaxation; Deep Tissue is applied for deep muscular and scar tissue work on troubled areas; Shiatsu gives attention to the meridians and nervous system; Treger subtly addresses the joints and bones through gentle rocking and manipulation. Each treatment is tailored to address specific issues of each client while facilitating an experience of integration and wholeness.

  • fire cupping

Cupping pulls stagnation out of tissues and brings it to the skin level. The pores expand discharging some of these wastes and toxins, the rest is then more accessible to the body’s circulatory and lymphatic systems where it can be properly flushed out. Cupping brings fresh revitalized look to stagnant areas. By creating negative pressure above the surface of the tissues, the decrease in atmospheric pressure allows the tissues below to be lifted upwards, increasing the space for the underlying structures.
Cupping has remarkable relief on rigid and aching muscles, activating the secretion of synovial fluids to release joint stiffness and pain. Cupping can alleviate the effects of chronic gastrointeric disorders, and on the digestive system. It has been used extensively for asthma and pneumonia. The respiratory system responds well easing labored breathing. Pain relief is quick, and long term injuries and restrictions can be released in one or a few treatments. Scar tissue softens and the restructuring of fascia can occur. 60 minute = $100

  • gravity colon hydrotherapy

A colonic is a holistic treatment that is the equivalent of giving your colon a deep cleansing bath. When accumulated waste and poisons are removed from your body its overall function significantly improves along with its capacity to heal from within. Additional benefits range from elevated physical and mental health, improved recovery time (for athletes and those after surgery), a balanced and improved: nervous system, respiratory system, circulatory system, skeletal system, a more grounded spirit, and the list goes on! Clients successfully address a wide variety of health ailments and a long list of afflictions ranging from the common cold, infertility, constipation, depression/anxiety, and migraines, to more serious life-threatening diseases such as tumors and cancer. • hot/cold jade stone therapy

Jade Stone Massage incorporates heated and cooled Jade Stones that are both placed on the body and used as massage tools. The stones are shaped and polished to various shapes and sizes ranging from quite large to very small. Practitioner Sariyah Idan studied directly with the originator of Jade Stone Therapy Jim Dorr who was first a longtime LeStone Therapy instructor. Traditionally, Jade has been used to attract love and bring money. When used for massage, Jade is a protective stone to heal stressed organs and discharge toxins. The simultaneous hot and cold temperatures increase circulation and relaxation while releasing inflammation and toxicity from the body; there is always more hot than cold. The effects are deeply therapeutic and soothing. Performed with Esalen blend massage.
